Refund & Warranty Policy
A legal disclaimer
Effective Date: June 10, 2026
At Poxy.ca, all flooring installations and coating services are custom-quoted, scheduled, and performed based on the unique specifications of each project. Due to the customized nature of our services, materials, labour, and scheduling commitments, all sales are final.
Except where required by applicable law, Poxy.ca does not provide refunds for:

Deposits;
-
Completed services;
-
Labour costs;
-
Materials and products;
-
Special-order materials;
-
Project scheduling fees;
-
Travel expenses;
-
Administrative costs;
-
Services that have been substantially completed.
Once a quotation has been accepted and materials have been ordered, labour has been scheduled, or work has commenced, any deposit paid shall become non-refundable and may be retained by Poxy.ca to cover costs incurred and commitments made in connection with the project.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all project specifications, colour selections, finishes, and scope of work prior to installation.
Workmanship Warranty
Poxy.ca stands behind the quality of its workmanship and installation services.
If a defect in workmanship is identified during the applicable warranty period and is determined by Poxy.ca to be the result of installation error, Poxy.ca may, at its sole discretion:

Repair the affected area;

Recoat the affected area;
-
Replace the affected section of flooring;
-
Perform other corrective work deemed reasonably necessary.
The decision regarding the appropriate warranty remedy shall be made exclusively by Poxy.ca.
Exclusive Remedy
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that repair, recoating, replacement, or corrective work performed under this Warranty Policy shall constitute the sole and exclusive remedy available to the Customer.
Under no circumstances shall the Customer be entitled to:

A cash refund;

Reimbursement for third-party contractors;

Compensation for inconvenience;
-
Compensation for loss of use;
-
Compensation for business interruption;
-
Compensation for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages
Warranty Exclusions
This Warranty Policy does not cover and shall not apply to:

Concrete cracking or movement;
-
Expansion joint movement;
-
Structural settlement;
-
Foundation movement;
-
Moisture vapor transmission;
-
Hydrostatic pressure;
-
Water intrusion;
-
Flooding;
-
Plumbing leaks;
-
Drain failures;
-
Existing substrate defects;
-
Normal wear and tear;
-
Surface scratches;
-
Tire marks or tire wear;
-
Damage caused by impacts, dragging objects, or heavy equipment;
-
Chemical spills or exposure;
-
Improper maintenance or cleaning practices;
-
Neglect or misuse;
-
Acts of nature;
-
Fire, flood, or environmental events;
-
Damage caused by third parties;
-
Cosmetic variations in colour, texture, gloss, or decorative flake distribution;
-
Conditions that were not reasonably discoverable before installation.
Any repair, modification, alteration, or coating work performed by a third party without prior written authorization from Poxy.ca shall immediately void any applicable warranty.
Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty claim, the Customer must:

Notify Poxy.ca in writing as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue;

Provide photographs and a detailed description of the alleged defect;
-
Provide proof of purchase or invoice documentation;
-
Permit reasonable access to the property for inspection.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in denial of the warranty claim.
Poxy.ca reserves the right to inspect the installation before determining warranty eligibility.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Poxy.ca's total liability arising out of or relating to any project, service, installation, warranty claim, or dispute shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
Poxy.ca shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or economic damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunities, property damage beyond the affected installation area, loss of use, or business interruption.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund & Warranty Policy is intended to limit, exclude, or waive any rights, remedies, warranties, guarantees, or protections that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where applicable law provides rights or remedies that cannot be waived, those rights shall prevail to the extent required by law.
